Kigali, December 14, 2021- At Gikondo expo grounds, the 24th edition of Rwanda International Trade Fair was officially opened by Hon. Minister of Trade and Industry Béata U. Habyarimana, where around 400 exhibitors are expected to participate.
Rwanda International Trade Fair is one of Rwanda’s major annual business events organized by Private Sector Federation (PSF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM). It is commonly known as special market place that allows participants to promote their products and services, explore new market, reach new customers and generate new businesses through different platforms such as B2B and B2C.
After opening and touring the Trade Fair, the Minister urged exhibitors to take this Trade Fair as an opportunity for them to not only sell their products, but also network with other industry players.
“This Trade Fair is expected to provide a unique opportunity that will help you to recover clients trust through business meetings, interactions, buying products and exchange business information as well as exploring new market networks.” She Said.
The Rwanda International Trade Fair will be held from 9th to 30th December 2021 under the theme: “Inclusive business recovery and growth through Trade Fair”. During this Trade Fair, Rwanda welcomed exhibitors from Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo for the first time, where Minister Habyarimana paid a courtesy visit to their respective booths at the official opening ceremony.
This event is taking place after a serious chock endured by the business community and the economy at large during the almost two years affected by COVID-19. The RITF 2021 is anticipated to bring together over 400 different business operators and players from at least 20 countries for a period of three weeks.
